Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Full-Time Professionals practice group. Our Full-Time Professionals are the Accounting and Finance Loan Staff for Robert Half of central Ohio. This position offers you a great work/life balance, excellent benefits, and considerable career advancement opportunity with exposure to multiple industries and different business processes. Our Bookkeeper will be working as a stand-alone bookkeeper for small businesses or working on specialized projects for larger businesses. Previous success in fast paced and dynamic environments with a "get it done mindset" are a must for this position.

Responsibilities (Responsibilities include but not limited to):

  • General ledger management
  • Accounts payable processing
  • Accounts receivable processing
  • Collections
  • Journal entries and adjustments
  • Some payroll processing
  • Heavy reconciliations
  • Month-End close
  • Audit preparation
  • Ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting/Finance is a plus
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with 2 software packages: QuickBooks, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards
  • Experience in at least 2 industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, CPA firm, Non-profit, Property Management, Healthcare, Construction
  • Payroll processing is a plus
  • Desire to learn, stay challenged and be self-motivated
  • Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros are a plus
