Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and schedule avionics work orders, ensuring all upgrades, inspections, and installations meet FAA regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and project management teams to achieve timelines and exceed customer expectations.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for installations, parts, and inspections to support efficient project planning.
• Lead, train, and mentor avionics technicians, fostering a positive and results-driven team culture.
• Maintain precise documentation for all repairs and installations, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Enforce safety and quality standards by implementing best practices and promptly addressing issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding project status, scope, and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) License or Repairman Certificate preferred.
• Experience with Citation aircraft is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in avionics installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Proven leadership or supervisory background in an avionics environment.
• Strong knowledge of FARs (particularly Part 145), avionics systems (Garmin, Honeywell), and schematic interpretation.
• Excellent organizational, technical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance tracking systems (e.g., Corridor).
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
