JCW is partnering with a well-established bank in New York to recruit an Audit Manager. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in planning and executing audits in line with internal audit plans, company policies, and regulatory standards. They will lead audit planning for assigned areas, ensure thorough risk assessments are completed, and support efforts to reduce risk and enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves reviewing internal controls, identifying process gaps, and recommending improvements. The team follows a hybrid model, working two days a week in the Midtown office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the planning and execution of audits in line with established plans, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Independently conduct or oversee full-cycle audits.
• Supervise team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Manage or carry out follow-ups on audit and regulatory findings in accordance with standards.
• Review audit work papers to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education; professional certifications or accounting designations required.
• Experience auditing or working in Capital Markets or Investment Banking is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience.
• Strong understanding of audit standards, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Certifications such as CIA or CPA are preferred.
