Job Title: Armed Patrol Officer
Location: Rosemead, CA
Pay: $21-23/hr
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours - 9:30pm - 5:30am

Position Overview:
We are seeking highly reliable and experienced Armed Security Guards to join our Armed Patrol Officer team in Rosemead, CA. This role requires quick response availability to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess excellent situational awareness, strong communication skills, and the ability to act swiftly and decisively in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Possess a valid armed security guard license and guard card.
  • 2 out of the 3 Nonlethals: Baton, OC Spray, Taser and their certifications are HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Level 3A Body Armor and Duty Belt is REQUIRED
  • DMV Record within 30 days and Driver's License is REQUIRED
    • Clean driving record
  • Hold certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED (preferred).
  • Proficient in the use of firearms and other defensive tactics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Physical fitness and agility to perform duties effectively.
  • Clean criminal record and passing a comprehensive background check.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, parking lots, and perimeters, to detect and deter unauthorized activities and ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations, providing appropriate assistance and notifying law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and preventing unauthorized entry.
  • Incident Reporting: Document and report all security incidents, suspicious activities, and safety hazards in a detailed and timely manner.
  • Conflict Resolution: De-escalate potential confrontations and manage situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and clients, maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid California Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability: Must be available for on-call duty during late swing shifts and graveyard shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Skills: Strong observational and decision-making skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency in conflict resolution.
Working Conditions:
  • Environment: Work is primarily conducted outdoors and may involve exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Shifts: On-call availability for day, swing and graveyard shifts, with the possibility of extended hours.
  • Safety Equipment: Must wear and properly maintain provided uniform and safety equipment, including firearms.
Compensation:
  • Pay: $ 21-23 hourly pay rate
  • Weekly Pay every Wednesday
