Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Special Services/Area Manager to lead specialty cleaning projects and oversee multiple client sites. You’ll manage teams, deliver top-quality service, maintain client relationships, and ensure smooth operations for services like floor care, carpet cleaning, detailed cleaning, and post-construction cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of specialty cleaning projects across multiple sites.
  • Schedule, dispatch, and supervise cleaning crews.
  • Work with operations and account managers to coordinate project schedules.
  • Visit job sites to ensure high-quality work, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; handle concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure proper use and availability of specialized tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Train and mentor staff to meet performance and safety standards.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of new team members.
  • Track labor hours, supply use, and project costs to stay within budget.
  • Complete reports, work orders, and other documentation accurately and on time.
  • Respond to urgent service requests or last-minute changes with flexibility.
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, stocked, and maintained properly.
  • Promote a team-first, safety-focused work culture.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facility maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of floor care, carpet cleaning, and specialized cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and teams efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using scheduling tools and basic computer systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends as needed).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish – Required
