What We Are Looking For

The Department of Accounting, School of Business, at North Carolina Central University is seeking a full-time professor to teach accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Some of these courses include taxation and accounting technology systems such as SAP. As the program grows, there may be other teaching opportunities within the discipline. We are actively searching for talented individuals with a comprehensive background and foundation in teaching excellence in both online and face-to-face higher education. This role has an advantage of teaching both online and on-campus students to support new and existing online courses centered around adult distance education learners.

Your Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in accounting (18 credit hours in accounting)
• Professional certifications including CPA or CMA (preferred)
• Degree from AACSB-accredited program (preferred)
• Published research and/or articles within 5 years of obtaining a doctorate degree with subsequent annual, peer reviewed research and publications
• Willingness to work on-campus in Durham, North Carolina
• Experience teaching courses in taxation and SAP accounting systems (preferred).
